BOM Upload Requirements

Last updated: April 29, 2026

Uploading your BOM (Bill of Materials) into Cofactr is quick and straightforward. Cofactr accepts standard file formats. The only data Cofactr needs to source your parts is the MPN (Manufacturer Part Number), the manufacturer, and either the quantity or the reference designators, which would tell us the quantity inherently.

The system automatically maps and validates your data, so you don’t have to spend time cleaning or reformatting spreadsheets - making it easy to go from upload to actionable insights in just a few clicks.

Below are lists of accepted file types and recommended column names to make your BOM upload process easier.
