The Cofactr Chrome Extension brings the power of Cofactr directly to any supplier website, enabling you to create supplier quotes, requisitions, and purchase orders in the Cofactr platform without leaving the supplier's site.
What is the Chrome Extension?
The Chrome Extension allows you to capture product information and pricing from any supplier website and automatically transfer it to Cofactr. This eliminates the need to manually enter product details, quantities, and pricing information, streamlining your procurement workflow.

Setup Instructions
Installing the Extension
Navigate to the Chrome Web Store at https://chromewebstore.google.com/
Search for "Cofactr" or use this direct link
Click "Add to Chrome"
In the pop-up that appears, click "Add extension"
Click on the extension icon in your browser toolbar (we recommend pinning it for easy access)
Logging In
Click the Cofactr extension icon in your browser toolbar
Click "Log into Cofactr" in the popup
Enter your Cofactr login credentials
Refresh your browser page after successful login
The extension is now ready to use
Required Setup
Set Default Shipping Location: Ensure you have a default shipping location configured in your Cofactr account before using the extension to avoid processing errors.
Enable Supplier Website Enrichment (Recommended): To maximize compatibility with supplier websites, enable the "Enrich Supplier Websites" integration:
Go to platform.cofactr.com
Click the settings button in the bottom left corner
Select "Integrations"
Search for "Supplier" or scroll to the bottom of the page
Click on the "Enrich Supplier Websites" card
Click "Reconfigure"
Click "Next"
Click "Finish"
Verify the integration shows a green check mark indicating it's enabled
How to Use the Extension
Login Verification: Ensure you're logged into the Cofactr Extension (refresh the page after logging in)
Navigate to Supplier Site: Go to the supplier website where you want to capture product information. The extension works best on product detail pages or cart/checkout pages.
Open the Extension: Click the Cofactr extension icon in your browser toolbar. You'll see a supplier dropdown and action buttons if properly logged in.
Supplier Selection:
If the extension recognizes the website URL, it will automatically select the appropriate supplier
If not recognized, manually select the supplier from the dropdown menu
Choose Your Action: Click one of the following options based on your needs:
"New Supplier Quote": Capture pricing information when you're not ready to place an order
"Add to Requisition": Use when your organization requires requisition approval before purchasing
"Add to Purchase Order": Select when you're ready to place an immediate order
Troubleshooting
Extension not appearing: Make sure you've pinned the extension and are logged in
Supplier not recognized: Manually select the supplier from the dropdown, or enable the "Enrich Supplier Websites" integration
Processing errors: Verify your default shipping location is set in your Cofactr account
Login issues: Refresh the page after successfully logging into the extension

The Cofactr Chrome Extension can collect information from any website, but it's most effective when used on:
Product detail pages
Shopping cart pages
Checkout pages
Supplier catalog pages
For optimal results, use the extension on pages that display clear product information, pricing, and quantities.
