ℹ Note
You may need to request and/or purchase a Machine User license for your Arena workspace from PTC. Please reach out to your Arena representative for more information.
Get Your Workspace ID
Navigate to your Workspace Settings
Copy the workspace_id from the URL bar in your browser. It will be a 9-digit number after
workspace_id=
Create Machine User
Navigate to your Workspace Settings
Navigate to Users > Machine
Create a new Machine user
You can select any email and password for this User. Set the email and password aside in a secure place for later
Note: Whatever email you use for this Machine User will receive a lot of automated emails from Arena. There is no way to disable those emails. We recommend using an email that does not lead to a human's inbox to avoid annoyance
Select All policies for the Machine user you created
For Login Conflict Resolution, select Terminate Existing Session
Configure Integration

Enable the Integration(s)
In most cases, you will want to set the "Setting Part Numbers During BOM Upload" setting in Cofactr to "None" before enabling a PLM integration such as Arena. That setting can be accessed here: https://platform.cofactr.com/org/preferences
Navigate to the Integrations App in Cofactr
Select the Arena integration and complete the configuration process
