Component Cloud API

Capabilities

Granular, customizable access to Cofactr's component and supply chain data.

Structure

HTTP REST API with customizable response schemas and bulk querying.

Optimized For

Powering 3rd party products that serve multiple customers or highly customized workflows developed by in-house engineers.

Not Optimized For

Interacting with your data within the Cofactr Platform or integrating with typical in-house business applications.

Licensing

The Cofactr Component Cloud API is available as an add-on for Cofactr subscriptions. Please contact success@cofactr.com to request an API key. Usage is metered per Part and requested data is based on your selected plan. Sandbox access is available upon request for Cofactr customers and 3rd party integration partners.

Platform Webhooks

Capabilities

POST data to an external URL when records are created or updated within Cofactr

Structure

No-code configurable webhook engine

Optimized For

Emitting events to 3rd party systems when changes take place within the Cofactr platform

Licensing

Data science and analytics or powering multi-tenant 3rd party products

Reporting App

Capabilities

Query a unified database of Cofactr's component and supply chain data plus your own platform data using SQL or a visual query builder tool.

Structure

SQL Data Explorer and Custom Report Builder within the Cofactr Platform.

Optional managed ETL to your external database or data warehouse for use with 3rd party business intelligence, dashboarding, and reporting tools such as Looker and Tableau.

Analyzing operational, supply chain, and engineering data at scale

Not Optimized For

Mutating data or integrating with real time business applications

Licensing

The Cofactr Reporting App is included in all Cofactr plans. Cofactr Reporting ETL is available as an add-on. Please contact success@cofactr.com to enable ETL.

No-Code Integrations

Capabilities

Periodically synchronize select Cofactr Platform data to and from 3rd party applications such as Google Sheets, ERPs, and PLMs.

Structure

Configurable native integrations with select 3rd party applications, accessible via the Integrations App in the Cofactr Platform
